I'm linking up with Jenny Matlock today for Saturday Centus. You'll see Jenny's button at the bottom of the post if you'd like to link up anytime this week.
Today's prompt is "I'm not getting any younger." Jenny slashed the word count to 25 this week! My short offering follows. (Just let me say -- I'm as guilty as the next mom!)
: : :
“I’m not getting any younger.” Hand on hip, the six-year-old impatiently tapped her foot. “Wherever did you hear such a thing?” gasped Mom, her telltale foot tapping twice as fast.

ReplyDeleteI love this! It's so funny. It reminds me of my son talking about his childhood, as if he no longer was a child! (He is nine years old now, but could say this when he was six or seven!)
