Teaching Kids to Eat Right

Wednesday March 24, 2010
Would you like to teach your kids to think about what they eat?

Here's a resource that can help! Red Light, Green Light, Eat Right was written by Dr. Joanna Dolgoff, a pediatrician who specializes in helping kids control their weight.

The book is based upon the colors of the traffic light and helps kids determine if foods get a red, yellow or green light! Publishers say a 6-year-old can understand the book easily, but it's great for the whole family.

Red Light, Green Light, Eat Right is full of recipes, sample meal plans, and parent advice.

I visited Dr. Joanna Dolgoff's website here and found it full of great articles, too. I followed a few more links, and I found an offer to try the book free for 21 days.

I don't own the book, but it certainly piqued my interest. I think it's worth checking out.

Happy, healthy eating!

Laura--
i havent read the book but as a Registered Dietitian ive used a similar theme in teaching children's obesity clinics. Its a simple premise that almost most everyone can grasp. Thanks for bringing it to the attention of your readers!
