Unforgettable Family Fun

Saturday April 17, 2010

That's right, it's National Park Week. Our national parks are a great bargain -- you can't beat them for family wonder and "awe" factor.

And this week, they're FREE. The National Park Service is waiving entrance fees to all 392 national parks this week. There are also special promotions to add to your family fun.

For more information about the US National Parks, see the official website. It's Spring -- so no child left inside!

Some of our best family memories revolve around the national parks, and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to invite you to share the wonder!

I wasn't aware that it was National Park Week! I live right next to a free National Park...I think it's one of the few in the U.S.

Hi Laura!
Thanks for stopping by my Fave 5 post last week.
Yours are great...especially the last quote. I think I will go and try to find that book for my kindle on Amazon!
I wish I were in the US to visit the parks this week...who knows, maybe someday! We live in Brazil by the way...

Hope to see you around my blog again!

Definately memorable!

I'm thinking about one camping trip in particular.

Van tore up on arrival.
Daughter broke her toe.
Son smashed his finger.
Tent leaked.
It rained every afternoon.

And there's more; however, I won't enlighten you any further.

It was truly an unforgettable nightmare...I mean vacation.

Sweet dreams.
