The Return of Cassandra Todd

Ever been bullied?
I’m sure most of us have…or we’ve done it…or we’ve seen it.

Imagine facing someone who bullied you in high school and holding their future in your hands.

That’s what happens to Turner Caldwell in The Return of Cassandra Todd by Darrel Nelson. Turner is a young motel handyman who is working his way through college. The sight of Cassandra Todd and her young son bring back painful memories of high school.
Cassandra, desperately fleeing an abusive husband, shows up at Turner’s door. She doesn't recognize him, and she needs help. Turner has a choice to make, and when it becomes apparent that her and her little boy’s lives hang in the balance, he makes the honorable choice to help.

The book kept me on the edge of my seat as Turner creatively used every survival skill he had to help his former nemesis. The plot turns to romance, and…well, I won’t spoil the ending for you.
Author Darrel Nelson is a retired schoolteacher who lives in Canada.  The Return of Cassandra Todd follow’s Nelson’s highly praised debut novel, The Anniversary Waltz.
